Overview

Tucked away on the second floor of the Siriraj Bimuksthan Museum, Tiny Elephant สาขา ศิริราชพิมุขสถาน ชั้น 2 is a hidden sanctuary for those seeking a quiet reprieve amid Bangkok Noi’s bustling Siriraj area. This café feels like stepping into a timeless storybook—influenced by the creaky wooden floors and classic decor that echo an old library’s charm. The carefully crafted ambiance creates a heartwarming space where both locals and visitors find solace, particularly medical professionals and students from the nearby university who appreciate its calm, focused atmosphere.

The menu highlights here show a discerning passion for quality and flavor. Their โก้โก้เย็นเข้มข้น delivers a rich, indulgent cocoa experience, while the Macadamia Caramel Cake offers a perfect balance of nutty sweetness paired wonderfully with a smooth latte. Matcha lovers are well-catered for, with a remarkably clear and vibrant Matcha Green Tea that reflects the cafe’s dedication to premium tea brewing. For those who prefer savory notes, the house-made Focaccia Bread paired with Americano Coffee stands out as a satisfying choice, blending textures and tastes that feel both simple and elevated.

Beyond coffee and sweets, the menu surprises with unique touches such as ทาโร่ผัดไข่—a creative dish that showcases the kitchen’s flair—and refreshing beverages like มะนาวโซดา that provide a crisp finish to the palate. The addition of new items like the kanom pia ice cream reflects the cafe's constant effort to refine and diversify their offerings with delightful, local twists.

The experience here is elevated by the warm hospitality of the staff. Friendly baristas and cashiers greet each guest with sincerity, often engaging in conversations about their carefully sourced coffee beans and expertly roasted blends. This commitment to quality resonates in every cup, whether it’s a velvety Cafe Au Lait, a stout brew or the ever-popular Piccolo Latte that fits perfectly with the café’s relaxed, introspective vibe.

Located within a cultural landmark, Tiny Elephant serves a niche but diverse audience—ranging from contemplative solo patrons to small groups seeking an offbeat café experience. Its design invites quiet conversations, reading, or even focused work, making it more than just a place to grab coffee but a retreat with thoughtful sensory details.

Tiny Elephant Cafe is located on the 2nd floor of Sirirah Bimuksthan Museum. Very cozy, heart warming space. Friendly barista and cashier. They are very keen on their roaster/coffee beans and Green Tea Matcha :) Do try their newly added menu, the kanom pia ice cream. Very flavorful indeed. Good prices too.

Absolute hidden gem of a place. On the second floor of a museum (?). Floors are creaky like a majestic old library. Decor is very classic and extremely cozy. The staff are super polite and extremely nice. The grounds outside are very nice to enjoy their goods with a view. Almost forgot to mention their Iced Mocha was sooo good. 10/10. You have to come here!

It was a bit difficult to find, but I asked two people who helped me figure out how to get to the café. The atmosphere inside is very pleasant, with quiet music. The place is mainly frequented by doctors and medical university students. I ordered a Premium Matcha for 85 baht, and it was good.

Eventually we made it here after years of planning to visit. Cozy and spacey for hideaway or even silently working. Great selections of coffee and matcha available.

Everything is good here: Food& drinks: Excellent. Good taste & quality. Green tea/ matcha is great. Very rich. They offer both sweets and savoury food (like croissants) Staff: Super friendly and polite. They are good at recommending their products and they gave you details about their food and drinks. They helped you to choose. Also, they gave good advices about the area as well. Location: Peaceful and quiet. Its on the 2nd floor of the museum. There are both indoor and outdoor areas. The terrace (outdoor area) is overlooking a park and Chaopraya river. You can see and hear the birds singing. I always come here if I can. Definitely will return again

Had a cup of hot latte (50) and a piece of macadamia caramel cake (90) for 140 baht. It's a yummy bargain! The location is a little hard to find the 1st time, but will be a returning customer. The place is most frequented by doctors. From Piyamaharajkarun Hospital, come through the back of the food court (there's an outside eating area). The cafe is located on the 2nd floor of the 2nd museum's building. Come in the building and walk up to the 2nd floor. There's a little sign, but it's hard to see. Chill atmosphere with the river view and friendly service. Super comfy chairs. Delicioso!
